ECFE Concludes "Future Falcons" Session
The Red Rock Central "Future Falcons" ECFE class wrapped up its last session on Monday, May 1st. This evening explored what school will be like for the kindergarten class of 2017-2018. Sessions consisted of songs, art projects, stories, games and snack, as well as Parent Sessions where discussions were had about what to expect the first year of school. Parents had an opportunity to meet in a small group with the Kindergarten teachers, Paula Paplow and Sara Kramer, and ask specific questions about curriculum, scheduling, communication and policies. The last session found parents and Future Falcons exploring all the areas of the school that they will encounter next year. They learned about bus safety, enjoyed a bus ride, practiced going through the lunch line, constructed an art project in the art room, listened to a story in the library, had fun with music in the music room and ended with a parachute program in the gym.
These Future Falcons are off to a great start and are looking forward to walking the halls of Red Rock Central next fall. Please join us next school year for your child’s age-appropriate ECFE sessions!
