Kennedy Vold is Sub-Region 9 Triple A Award Recipient

Established in 1988, the Academics, Arts, and Athletic Award (Triple "A" Award) is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. The award goes to a high school senior with a "B" or better grade point average and who participates in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.

In addition to being selected as the local school district recipient of the Triple A Award - Kennedy Vold of Red Rock Central High School has been selected as the Sub-Region 9 Triple A Award Recipient.


While maintaining a high grade point average taking 5 PSEO and 4 College in the School courses Kennedy has been involved in both Band and Choir Large Group and Solo/Ensemble contests - earning superior ratings in both, as well as participating in the One Act play, Speech, the Fall Musical and spring play.  Kennedy has also participated as a three sport athlete playing volleyball in the fall, participating in gymnastics in the winter and track and field in the spring - being recognized with Academic All-Conference and All-state honors in both Volleyball and Gymnastics.


Kennedy plans to attend the University of South Dakota to pursue a degree in Elementary Education and continue her participation in Music and Performing arts.
