Farmers enrollment for Grow Communities 2023 now open
The America’s Farmers Grow Communities program is a singular effort seeking to give $5,000 grants to a variety of rural nonprofits, education efforts and rural initiatives in a streamlined way. We (Bayer Fund) believe farmers know best which institutions and programs in their communities deserve funding, so we partner with them to direct the grant money.
Since 2010, the America’s Farmers programs has awarded over $65 million to nonprofits, schools and ag youth organizations across rural America. From 3D printers and STEM education for small schools, to funding food banks in underserved areas, the America’s Farmers programs help lift up and support rural communities, one grant at a time. We know that these funds help rural communities be resilient and thrive – and that they are needed now more than ever.
We have reimagined the America’s Farmers programs, streamlining our efforts into one signature program: Grow Communities. Through this process, we’ve made it easier than ever for schools to receive grant money. Here’s how it works:
-
Now through Nov. 1, farmers enroll in Grow Communities.
-
Winning farmers are announced in January 2023. They will have the opportunity to direct $5,000 to an eligible school STEM program or nonprofit of their choice.
It only takes a few minutes to potentially make an impact for a rural nonprofit or school in your area. Check out America's Farmers website for more info: www.americasfarmers.com
