Homecoming Week, Sept. 25-30

The 2023 Red Rock Central Homecoming Royalty has been announced! Homecoming Coronation will be held Monday, September 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the RRC gym. No admission will be charged. 

Queen candidates are: Raegan Carter, daughter of Brandon and Mindy Carter; Alyssa Cowan, daughter of Dennis and Jody Cowan; Ella Erickson, daughter of Nate and Sally Erickson; Callie Highby, daughter of Lowell Highby and Jessica Smith; Addison Irlbeck, daughter of Dave and Jill Irlbeck; and Eva Redman, daughter of Mike and Kari Redman.

King candidates are: Corey Arkell, son of Rich and Bridget Arkell; Reese Berg, son of Robert and Tracie Berg; Ashton Holmen, son of Lance and Angela Holmen; Jake Jackson, son of Frank Jackson and Christy Jackson; Blake Paplow, son of Chris and Amy Paplow; and Isaac Simonson, son of Lincoln and Renee Simonson.

Juniors attendants are: Hadlee Hemmingsen, daughter of Jerry and Angie Hemmingsen; Maia Scheffler, daughter of Emily and Kurt Scheffler; Parker Morin, son of Mandy Morin and Josh VanLoy; and Erick Flores, son of Erika Flores Lopez.

Sophomore attendants are: Kenzie Albrecht, daughter of Bobbie and Amanda Albrecht, and Carter Therkilsen, son of Paul and Amy Therkilsen.

Freshman attendants are: Natalee Lenning, daughter of Matt and Barb Lenning, and Braylon Bedner, son of Matthew and Melissa Bedner.

1st grade attendants are: Ellen Schaffran, daughter of Lee and Beth Schaffran, and Noah Keck, son of Jon and Ashley Keck.

Volleyball travels to Edgerton on Tuesday, hosts Mountain Lake Area Comfrey on Thursday, and ends the week with a mid-day game at Home vs. Wabasso on Friday. The Boys Cross Country team travels to St. James on Tuesday, and both boys and girls will run in Butterfield on Saturday morning. Football has a unique homecoming game on Friday at 5:30, traveling to Morgan to play Cedar Mountain (due to the school construction project making our field unavailable this season). 

The 2023 Homecoming Royalty will be featured at halftime of the football game. The grand march and dance will be in the RRC gym following the game, beginning at 9:00. Admission to the dance is $5.00 with the Royalty being admitted for free.

The Student Council has chosen the Dress-Up Days for Homecoming week. Monday is Groutfit (wear a completely gray outfit), Tuesday is Athletes vs. Mathletes, Wednesday is Barbie & Ken, Thursday is Beach Vacation, and Friday is Falcon Spirit Day. 

Friday morning students will participate in Homecoming activities like co-ed volleyball and tug-of-war. The entire student body is invited to the Volleyball Game at 12:30 p.m. The whole school will have a chance to cheer on their team.
