Nomination written for Mrs. Hubert:
“Betsy Hubert may hold the title of paraprofessional, but her contributions to our school community go far beyond that role. Betsy is a cornerstone of our district—deeply involved, endlessly dedicated, and always ready to step in wherever she’s needed.
Each morning begins with Betsy’s warm smile as she greets students at the breakfast point of sale, setting a positive and welcoming tone for the day. In the library, she inspires a love of reading, helping students discover books that spark their interests and expand their horizons. Her ability to connect with students is truly remarkable.
Outside the classroom, Betsy is the driving force behind many of our most cherished school traditions. She plans and coordinates prom and the senior trip—two milestone events that create lasting memories for our students. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and
genuine care ensure these experiences are not only well-executed but also deeply meaningful.
Betsy is also a fixture at the concession stand, often the first to arrive and the last to leave. She devotes countless hours organizing, stocking, and running the stand so our students, families, and fans can enjoy events with ease. Her leadership in this area exemplifies her
commitment to school spirit and community involvement.
Betsy’s work ethic, positivity, and unwavering support make her an invaluable member of our team. She does it all—with grace, compassion, and an unmistakable pride in our school. Betsy Hubert is more than deserving of the title Support Staff Member of the Year.”
