Miss Carla Hoppe
Welcome to Miss Hoppe's Kindergarten Class Website
Hello! My name is Carla Hoppe. This is my first year teaching, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to do it at RRC. I recently graduated from Luther College majoring in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading and Early Childhood.
I have always been around schools, and grown up with teachers all around me. They have been the biggest role models in my life. They dedicate all their time, energy, and love to their students, lesson plans, classroom decor, and co-workers. I hope to live up to the examples I grew up with. An incredible opportunity arises in the kindergarten classroom, and a kindergartener's home life, and that is the love, guidance and support we give them. I think we can empower the next generations of learners by speaking to them as adults and equals so that they may do the same to one another. We can prepare them for success in their future classrooms, and in life. These ages are so impressionable and I will strive to be a teacher to lay the foundational blocks for learning.
I am from Platteville, Wisconsin, home of the biggest letter 'M' in the world. Some of my favorite things are cooking for others, reading to show me a different world, and playing with my Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Next fall, my fiance, Mr. Schnaith (math teacher at RRC) and I will be getting married. We're eager to start our lives here in the Red Rock Central Community!
