Application for Educational Benefits

An Application for Educational Benefits is mailed to every family in the district mid-August. Starting school year 2023-24, we are joining Minnesota’s Free School Meals Program. All students can get one breakfast and one lunch free of charge each day at school. Although no application is required to receive this free meal benefit, filling out the Application for Educational Benefits is still important! Your child(ren) may qualify for other benefits like reduced fees at school. Your confidential application may also help the school qualify for education funds, discounts, and other meal programs.

Families must reapply annually to be approved for benefits. Applications are available online and also in person at the school office. An application may be submitted at any time throughout the school year.

Completing an application (all required information must be provided before approval can be obtained).

Income Eligibility:

• Only one application is required per family.
• List all family members and income sources in your household.
• Signature of household adult completing the application with their last 4 digits of their social security number.

Categorical Eligibility:

• Only one application is required per family.
• List all children’s names, DOB, grade, and school.
• Signature of household adult completing the application
